The Journeys Begin.

"Mac has done it again! What he does like no other on stage, he now has done on paper. You feel as if you are living in the scene as Mac unfolds the drama, beauty and excitement of ancient history. What a joy it is to recommend Forever Changed, as a must read." Tony Hammon, Author, Bone of My Bones.

"Just as Mac brings characters to life on the stage, he transforms the written word into another world...you won't want an intermission!" Janet Folger, Speaker/Author True to Life, Founder: www.F2A.org

“With Forever Changed, this experienced actor and master story teller presents an intriguing drama packed with surprises in this powerful journey.” Gigi Graham author/speaker

“McConnell achieves a remarkable fluidity” Bill von Maurer, theater critic for the Miami Herald

“Mac has remarkable ability to transform one-dimensional literary characters into three-dimensional human beings.” Robert Miller, Bridgewater College.

My life as a dramatist forces me to look at life through the eyes of the characters I portray. Therein lies the very basics of characterization. Herein lies Journeys of attitudes too real to ignore, too honest to doubt and too personal to forget. Forever Changed is a surprisingly frank first person look at the life of a taxman in first century Jericho. Everybody knows his name. Everybody knows his business. What everybody doesn’t know is the very thing that motivated Zacchaeus to go out on a limb to see the latest in a long line of “would-be” Messiahs. Packed with historical truth, accented with true-to-life disappointments and riddled with honest questions, this dramatic novel systematically pulls the reader into pulling for this outcast and then rejoicing in his eventual redemption.

Forever changed is the first of five exciting journeys deep into the life and times of everyday people in the most important time in history.
